Vlotburg Castle Ship is moving to Meppel on November 5, 2026!

The Vlotburg Castle Ship Museum is leaving its current mooring in Zwartsluis and moving to Zomerdijk in Meppel.

From Thursday, November 5, 2026, our unique medieval castle ship can be admired at its new location.

Please note: The museum will remain temporarily closed to visitors. The castle ship can currently only be viewed from the outside.
